Mickey Mouse Taro. This unusually variegated Aroid has irregularly margined leaves which when first opening, its edges are a cream yellow, later turning white. It is not the most cold hardy Elephant Ear, so one needs to plant it in well drained soil so that cold wet soil will not rot its tuber during the winter. Mulching the crown will also enhance its survivability in the colder reaches of its zones.. But it does appreciate adequate moisture. It makes an excellent pot plant where it might be too cold to grow it outside. Our next availability of this selection will be June, 2020.
