Due to recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Miniature Wisteria. This unusual little vine is a true Wisteria which is about a tenth of the size of its parent. Even though I see comments on the internet of it flowering;, I have never seen it flower nor have any pictures of flowers ever been offered. So its main use is for bonsai, although it does have the potential to grow a number of feet  Even though the state of South Carolina has prohibited us from growing Asian wisterias, because of their invasive nature of reseeding, we are still offering this one since it doesn't flower and produce seed. This selection does have a synonym, Millettia japonica 'Hime Fuji'. Frankly, this could be the correct classification for it, but most authorities still classify it as a Wisteria. The two genera are very closely related.
