Pink Showers Confederate Jasmine. When I first saw a couple trays of green-leaf Confederate Jasmine in a variegated-plant nursery in Japan, I knew that this must be something special. Jokingly I said to one of my companions, "To be in this nursery, this plant must have pink flowers," never dreaming it did, nor did I ever know that there was such a thing. But then I asked our translator to ask Mr. Sato what was special about these plants, and he responded, "Pink frowers." This selection is awesome! It has good pink fragrant flowers in spring and sporadically throughout the summer. Of course in climbs by twining and will grow in sun or shade. With protection, one could probably venture into zone 7 with it. As far as I know, we are the first to offer this selection in America.
