Miss Kim Lilac. Finally a Lilac that will thrive in the Deep South. This selection makes a medium size shrub of 4-6' with ruffled medium green leaves and "lilac-purple" panicles of lightly fragrant flowers in April here in central SC. It will do well in full sun up to half day sun, but we believe that morning sun and afternoon shade is the ideal situation. Give good soil with adequate drainage. Without adequate moisture, leaves will scorch.
