Comet Monkeygrass. This incredible selection of the age-old "Monkeygrass" is one of the more incredible cultivars with its ghostly silver appearance which contrasts beautifully with almost any other color or texture. It performs best in filtered sun with good drainage. It spreads slowly by underground rhizomes and will eventually make a nice patch of grayish-white foliage, but please be patient, since it is much slower than the species because of its heavy variegation. As one can see, the leaves are comprised of narrow dark green and white vertical streaks that gives the overall effect of silvery-gray.
