Due to the recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Hybrid Winter Honeysuckle. This selection is a hybrid between L. fragrantissima and L. standishii, retaining the best characteristics of both. Flowers are larger, opening here before Christmas and blooming through January and February. Superior in all respects to L. fragrantissima with fragrant flowers which are excellent for winter forcing. I'm sure this plant will gain a size of 4-6' with an equal or greater spread. For us it tends to be semi-evergreen if kept well fertilized. Full sun to part shade. Not particular as to soil.
