Due to the recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Traebert's White Liriope. I was given this selection of Liriope by J. C. Raulston of NCSU, which since his death, the arboretum that he founded there has been re-named the J. C. Raulston Arboretum. He was without a doubt one of the most inspiring plantsmen I have ever met, next to my Prof. Fred Thode at Clemson and Michael Dirr at UGA. The main difference in this cultivar and Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' is that this one will grow in full sun without the foliage burning, which is not true of 'Monroe White.' The leaf blades here are slightly more narrow than 'Monroe White' also. From these containers, one can get a number of divisions.
