Sunburst St John's Wort. A selection of our southeastern native Golden St. John's Wort, it makes a 3-4' rounded shrub with distinct narrow bluish-green leaves, which for us in zone 8 remains mostly evergreen. The 2" flowers are the typical golden-yellow powder puffs of the species. Great plant for massing and naturalizing in part to full sun. In Europe it is considered to be the best of the American species.
