Pinky Winky® Panicle Hydrangea. A good replacement for Hydrangea paniculata 'Quickfire' with its white flowers which turn to pink almost immediately after opening. The "Peegee" type Hydrangea do best in full sun, which is great for those who don't have enough shade to grow the "macrophylla" types. Another note is that they flower on current seasons wood, so one can prune them back heavily each spring to induce more succulent growth which results in larger flower heads.
