Due to the recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Pixie Bush Ivy. This cultivar is a "backwards" reversion of Fatshedera 'Curly', which is quite dwarfish as far as Fatshederas are concerned. This is a completely green reversion with leaves half the size of the species and also the nodes between the leaves are under half the length of the species. This makes for a very compact plant, which can work in the landscape as a dwarf Fatsia or even as a patio or indoor pot plant. As with all Fatshederas, one should grow them in filtered to full shade and the soil should have good drainage.
