Distylium or Blue-leaf Isu 'Blue Cascade'™. We get this great new addition to the Distylium group from the breeding work of Dr. Michael Dirr. It has this magnificent weeping-spreading habit which is so pleasant to the eye, in contrast to the hard little meatballs which are so prevalent in many of today's landscapes. We have had not disease or insect problems with this plant. It has the same burgundy red flowers in February and March in the axils of each of last years leaves. It makes a great foundation plant as well using it in an informal bed planting. Its height will be 2-4' with a spread of 4-6'.
