Jaytee Heavenly Bamboo. This new dwarf Nandina is very similar to the old 'Harbor Dwarf' which makes a stupendous ground cover for sun to part shade. The added advantage of 'Harbor Belle' is that it is a much better berry producer than 'Harbor Dwarf.' The fall and winter color is a good burgundy red if sited in the sun. Give it good drainage and once established it will be one of the most drought tolerant ground covers that one can plant. Nandinas tend to be self infertile, so if one desires berries, it is advisable to plant another flowering clone nearby for cross-pollination.
