Autumn Pineapple Lily. This Pineapple Lily has flower spike to 4' tall with greenish-white flowers in late summer and early fall. It does best when planted in full sun or very light shade. The foliage as well as the flower spike make a dramatic statement with contrasting perennials. The only prerequisite for growing is to have good drainage. It develops a bulb and slowly multiplies, but it would be years before one would need to split their clump. Best divided in late winter, but in warmer areas, any time while the plant is dormant would do.
