Due to the winter weather, orders from these states will ship in the spring, April to May: CA, CO, IA, ID, KS, ME, MI, MN, MT, ND, NE, NH, NV, OR, SD, UT, VT, WA, WI, WY. And due to the extreme cold and wind which we experienced through the Christmas holidays of December 2022, many Osmanthus varieties won't be shipped until we are assured there is no cold damage. This may be as late as April or May, 2023. We may choose to delay shipping other plants as well.

Weeping Anthericum. If one does not recognize this genus, it is the same one from which we get the popular hanging-basket subject often referred to around these parts as "Airplane Plant." This species has much narrower and more upright leaves with 18-24" wispy flower stalks topped with small white flowers which is in the lily family. I first saw this species growing in the walled garden of Riverbanks Botanical Garden in Columbia, SC. It gives a unique texture and could be used very liberally in the perennial border or even among "woodies. When one needs a "grass-effect" which really flowers over a long period of time, this is a super subject. It works well in a combination pot as well. It flowers for us throughout the growing season, but in even milder ranges it will flower year around. The last picture is compliments of Random Harvest Nursery in South Africa where this plant is a native. All of our plants are from a single clone, so there is no problem with seed set and plants becoming weedy, which happens in its native haunts.
