Chelonopsis yagiharana (C. moschata)
Japanese Turtlehead. I brought this perennial back from Japan and it has performed quite well for us here. We usually get two flowering seasons, one in the spring and then late summer and fall, while others only report the latter. The flower resembles a deep rose-pink Foxglove bloom rather than our own Turtlehead. It grows in a neat attractive clump, and even without flowers, it is attractive in foliage. You will love this perennial.
