Golden Dragon Plum Yew. This outstanding new introduction has all of the great features of other Plum Yews: deer resistance, tough nature, sun or shade plus awesome gold needles when given enough sun. It grows well in complete shade, but it will be basically green. If given adequate moisture, most of the plum yews will grow in full sun, but in the Deep South, full sun will burn the yellow foliage. Further north, full sun is no problem. When planted in mass, it makes a dramatic statement in the landscape.
