Sunburst Japanese Boxwood. This was a variegated sport found by Bob Green, Sr., of Green Nursery in Fairhope, AL. It looks to be a mutation of Buxus microphylla 'Wintergreen', but I'm not sure. Its leaves have yellow margins which adds quite a bit of interest to a plant which is usually only found in various shades of green. It is much slower growing and more compact than its parent, so it makes a great plant for bordering in a small garden. It can be grown in full sun to shade and does quite well in either as well as being an excellent container plant.
