White Berried Ardisia or Coralberry. This Ardisia variety replaces the red berries of the species with cream-white berries. It is just as cold hardy as the species and when planted in shade, the light colored berries really make a statement. It works equally well as a container plant, but when temperatures drop below 20°F, it would be best to give it some protection. Please bear in mind that this species has been put on the "Invasive Plant List" in Florida. But for some reason, birds leave our beries alone, so I have only seen them falling to the ground and germinating just under the parent and not spread far afield.
