Watanabe Viburnum. This selection is a more compact version of 'Summer Snowflake'. It is reported to get to only 4-5', but in the Deep South, with our warmer night temperatures and longer growing season, it will probably get much larger. But with some judicious pruning, it can easily be kept smaller. It has the same early spring floral display as 'Summer Snowflake' and the continued repeat flowering characteristic through the summer. The first photo is from the April flowers and then photos 2, 3 and 4 were taken in mid July. It is amazing how long one will get flower production with this cultivar.
