Tree Germander. This is one of the best shrubs to plant to give a silver cloud in the landscape. The foliage is fine with a silvery bloom to its leaves. If allowed to grow on its own, it will get to 3' high with an equal spread, but it is also amenable to being sheared. From late winter to late spring it is adorned with small blue flowers which adds to its fascination. Grow in full sun with good drainage and this plant can take an extended drought. Deer will also leave it alone.
