Daphniphyllum-like Pittosporum. Given to us by Jenks Farmer who had received it from our good friend Jim Porter of Osmanthus armatus 'Jim Porter' fame. And I think it was given to him by J. C. Raulston. It has leaves which are almost the size of Loquat, Eriobotrya japonica. As a matter of fact, it will mature as a small tree with a rounded canopy similar to that of Loquat. It forms terminal umbels of small yellow fragrant flowers in April. Crug Farms in the UK speaks highly of it. Seed were collected at over 6000' elevation in Taiwan. We have never seen any damage on ours from cold even down to single digits.
