Double Flowering Easter Rose. One to two inch golden-yellow spheres of many-petaled flowers on a shrub which is a little more upright than other Kerrias. This is a versatile easy-to-grow shrub which will tolerate part sun to shade conditions and reach a height of 4-6 ft. Soil type is unimportant, just give it good drainage and moderate fertility. Fall color is a good yellow, and when the leaves drop, the green branches give it an overall evergreen effect. Flowering here is from early April to May and then some sporadic flowering through the summer. Native to China and Japan.
