Tsuruji no Mai Hydrangea. This is another one of those quaint little Hydrangea serrata. It is a real charmer with its double florets, but unlike 'Shirofuji' which is white, this one has pink florets. As with all of this species, it is half or less the size of Hydrangea macrophylla with leaves which are much smaller also. Grow it in filtered sun to part shade in a well drained soil, and as with most Hydrangeas it prefers uniform moisture.
