Dee Runk Boxwood. This cultivar of Buxus sempervirens takes on a majestic conical shape as it grows, even with very little pruning. When one needs a vertical accent, this cultivar is hard to beat. Our plants are only in one gallon containers, but you will be thrilled with the formality of this selection. Here in the Deep South it will tolerate morning sun, but would prefer afternoon shade. Further north it will do well in full sun for the entire day. Give good drainage and uniform moisture, and I have always found that they appreciate a good dose of lime every year or so.
