Kojo-no-Mai Flowering Cherry. This is an awesome little flowering cherry which has zig-zag stems which adds to its intrigue. It produces tightly clustered white flowers which have pink centers. The leaves in the fall turn a good maroon. This selection originated in Japan. It is ideal planted in a container so that one can appreciate its character closer up. This is a perfect bonsai subject as well.
