Underway Hybrid Mahonia. Very similar to 'Winter Sun' and 'Charity,' I am hard pressed to tell them apart. There are no better winter flowering plants than the hybrid Mahonias. Most of them flower for us from Thanksgiving to the end of January. Morning temperatures in the teens don't faze the flowers. All have attractive blue berries following the flowering. The architectural foliage in the shade garden is unexcelled.
