Wolong Ghost Euonymus. This cultivar is the best groundcover Euonymus that I have see. It really "mats" the ground with its low profile stems which get think enough to smoother just about any weeds. Even acorns can't reach the ground to germinate. This makes for a fascinating effect as a ground cover with its prominent white-veined leaves. It will also do well in sun or shade which makes it quite versatile. It can climb a wall or any textured surface as it develops aerial roots that anchors it. If kept on the ground, it will not flower, whose flowers are not conspicuous anyway. It really works beautifully in a combination container with its runners draping over the sides of the pot or planter as the "spiller" or draping over a wall.
