Rivieriorum Dwarf Clump Bamboo. This dwarf, clump-growing bamboo will reach 8-10’ with dainty stems and fern-like leaves. It has the same characteristics of its parent Bambusa multiplex. As others in this genus, it makes a wonderful container plant for indoors or out as long as it gets the proper amount of light. Like all true bamboos, it is a true grass. It is foliage hardy down to the mid-teens, and even when the foliage is burnt from severe cold, most culms will leaf back out the next spring. Periodically remove the oldest culms all the way to the ground.
Zones 7b-10.
