Dwarf Ougon Nishiki Asiatic Jasmine. When I first saw this little cutie in Japan and couldn't believe what I was seeing. At the time they had not given it a cultivar name, and I'm still waiting on a decision there. So I took the liberty to give it the cultivar name of 'Ougon Nishiki Pixie'. The leaves are one third to one quarter the size of 'Ougon Nishiki'. It was a single rooted cutting when I first purchased it, so it took a while to get up enough numbers to offer it. It would make a stunning ground cover for a bonsai or a very small area in a garden.
