Fiona Sunrise Poet's Jasmine. This is an incredible cultivar of this True Jasmine which has vivid golden new growth when planted in full sun. Even as the foliage hardens off, the leaves become an intense chartreuse. It has fragrant white flowers in spring typical of the species. It is a vigorous vine which climbs by twining and can reach 10-20' at maturity. It is a good zone 7-11 plant, but reports on the internet give witness to it doing well in zone 6 as well. This plant will contrast beautifully with a bright blue Clematis in the spring. We have one planted here near a 'Bert Jones' Camellia sasanqua, and this was a happy accident. The bright pink flower of the sasanqua synchronize well with the gold of 'Fiona Sunrise.'
