Lavender Mist Meadow Rue. This is an outstanding perennial which will reach 5 ft. with a very extended flowering period of delicate soft lavender pink. The foliage is a feathery light bluish-green which resembles Columbine. For those who have not been able to grow meadow rues before, try this one. Its stems are purple and it will grow in full sun to part shade. Since I had never tried this perennial before, I could not believe how well it has performed in our heat.
