Fugi Snow Salvia. This is a low growing Salvia of only 6-10" producing irregular white margined leaves followed by yellow flower spikes in the fall. Its variegation fades in heat, but is spectacular until June. But here in zone 8, it puts on a gorgeous foliage display until early summer. It is very cold hardy, to zone 7 if not 6. This one performs well in part shade and may be even happier there in its southern limits.
