Shi Ho Purple Flowering Hairless Japanese Salvia. This is an incredible perennial Salvia which puts up spikes of deep purple snapdragon-like flowers in October here. In our heat it performs better with only a couple of hours of morning sun and afternoon shade or high filtered shade. You will love this plant because when other plants are getting ready to go to sleep for the winter, this one is waking up. It will make a clumping mound of 18 x 18". This is very new to the trade and you can be the first one to have it on your block.
