Lily Pads Evergreen Solomon's Seal. This is a true evergreen Solomon's Seal with thick glossy green leaves on stems up to 22" and yellow bell-like flowers in spring at almost every node. The flowers resemble those of the deciduous Solomon's Seal in the genus Polygonatum. This selection was brought to us by plantsman Hayes Jackson in 2001 from China's Wuhan Botanical Garden. It has the largest leaves of any Disporopsis that I have ever seen and makes an imposing perennial for the shade garden.
