Regular price $28.00 Sale

This subspecies has all of the attributes of Osmanthus fragrans aurantiacus, except that the flowers are a soft lemon yellow. It also has the same cold hardiness of aurantiacus. But like O. f. aurantiacus, it does not start flowering until it reaches a height of 4' to 6'. Plants in the South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson University, with stood minus 8°F in the freeze of January, 1985, with no apparent damage. But please be aware that with an extended period of this may be damaging. One of my employees attests that this is her favorite fragrances of all of the Osmanthus. It is somewhat distinct.
