Cody's Feathers Bald Cypress. This incredible little compact Bald Cypress will capture your heart. If you like this species and don't have room enough to grow a full size Bald Cypress, then this is the plant for you. It doesn't take on the formal pyramidal form of the species, but rather it grows in a rather billowy fashion. Some sources say that it matures at a 5x5' size, but I think it will become larger than this. These pictures were taken at the J.C. Raulston Arboretum on the campus of NCSU in Raleigh, NC, and the plants we offer are grafted onto the species and my scion wood came from the plant in these pictures.
