Lady in Red Camellia. This outstanding cultivar was given to me by Walter Wilson of Augusta, GA, who was one of the original founding members of the American Camellia Society. It has 6" semi-double deep red flowers which appear to be "jubbed". It is a very good true red which is enhanced by a bright cylinder of yellow stamens. It is a good vigorous grower. It is a late winter to early spring bloomer which means that we usually always have a good flower display without cold damage.
Zones 7-9.
