Japanese Fantasy Camellia. This incredible hybrid by Dr. Clifford Parks is a Camellia Forest introduction, in 1990." It is a complex hybrid of C. japonica 'Berenice Boddy' x (C. saluenensis x C. rosaeflora). This is one of those hybrids that is not impressive with its flower size, but it will bold one over with its flower production. It is described as resembling an evergreen cherry tree in full flower. Its flowers are a soft cherry pink. If one is looking for a landscape Camellia with a traffic-stopping effect, then this is the plant for you. Pictures are compliments of Mike Chelednik.
