Shishi Botan Evergreen Ligularia. This cultivar of the evergreen Farfugiums has some of the most crinkled leaves anywhere. It produces the same yellow daisy-like flowers of the species, but it will only get to one third the size of 'Giganteum' and about half the size of 'Crispata'. It never ceases to be a conversation piece when it is observed in the garden. Give it filtered sun to shade with good drainage and uniform moisture. And the watch the reaction of your gardening friends when they see it for the first time. All of the Farfugiums have proven to be some of the most deer resistant plants that we grow.
