Due to the recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

DOUBLE TAKE® ORANGE Flowering Quince.
This magnificent selection comes from the breeding expertise of Dr. Tom Ranney at the The Mountain Horticultural Crops Research & Extension Center which is located in the southern Appalachian mountains of western North Carolina near Asheville. This series has been named the "Double Take™ Quince Collection." They all have large double blooms, and they are thornless and deer resistant. WOW! What more could one ask. 'Orange Storm' is a bright orange with some flowers being completely double, i. e. no stamens at all, while others have many layers of petals and still show some stamens. As one can see from the photos, some are so double that they resemble small roses. This is a true break-through with Quince breeding with which you will truly fall in love.
