Due to the recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Green Beauty Boxwood. One of the more compact growers of the Asian boxwoods, this selection holds its winter color better than any other and this plant takes summer heat better than most too. It has also been found to be the most resistant to the new disease of boxwood, Boxwood Blight. It will eventually reach 4-6' but can be easily kept to a 24' as a clipped hedge or border. It makes a great container plant also. In boxwood evaluation trials, this plant has come out on top.
