Due to the recent discovery of the spotted lanternfly in South Carolina, California has restricted the shipment of plants from SC as well as 15 other states in which the spotted lanternfly had already been found. It was found over 100 miles from Nurseries Caroliniana, but the whole state has been put under quarantine until a treatment protocol can be worked out to resume shipments to California. Authorities hope that this can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Kimigayo Marlberry. Kimigayo Ardisia is another cultivar of the ground cover species of Ardisias often referred to as Coralberry. It flowers with the typical soft pink flowers of the species followed by large red berries. This cultivar has a chartreuse irregular margin with entire or serrated margins. It is great from Zones 7b-10 as an outdoor shade ground cover which will reach 6 inches or so in height. But if you can't grow it outdoors, it makes an outstanding pot plant, especially with its brilliant red berries at Christmas and through most of the winter.
